Coming from Angers, in the West of France, Skapsom is a three piece band playing ska and punk mixed with hardcore. Skal (vocals/guitar), Befa (Bass/vocals) and Klax (Drums / back vocals) formed the band in 2003 and decided to mix different styles of music.
Their first album, “Irreversible?” (recorded in 2004), presents 8 songs of their powerful style. The lyrics, written in English, deal with environmental problems, violence, power abuse... The style is influenced by bands such as Choking Victim or Antimaniax.
Skapsom are currently playing shows in the region of Angers and in some other towns in France. They’re going to figure on the next international compilation on Beer Records (Riot Ska II) and on the tribute to Choking Victim.
