Radio Maquis is the common project of existent members of bands that shared the same desire to broaden to a different musical world, by blending their respective influences and by welding their ideas around a claimant and anti-establishment line of conduct.

It is a detonating mix between punk,electro and hardcore, drawing at the same time from the rigour of electronic music, the energetic sharp side of punk and the violence of hardcore.

Always concerned about denouncing a society in which identity no longer means anything,in which lie and corruption are weapons,and in which mass media hides information with sensationalism and entertainment, the band does its utmost to insert into its music protest texts. Sometimes pessimistic, sometimes caustic, sometimes unifier, Radio Maquis can be defined by resistance work, outside codes and imposed tabs.

Radio Maquis represents the radio of resistance, means of communication to federate the resistance fighters of our actual society. The band is represented by a raven that symbolizes of the bad omen owed to the pressure of the political ideas we are under and which we no longer want to undergo.

The band clearly defends anti-sectarianism , by struggling as much as possible against any discriminating and intolerant movements that aim at marginalizing certain minorities. Radio Maquis pleads the equality of each in its condition of human being, and encourages to break chains and to burst into pieces individualism, oppression and moral persecution.

Radio Maquis musically reflects the feeling of uneasiness, rage and anger, rooted in a dark but sincere world, faithful to the ethical values which have always enlivened the combo. The only purpose: to awaken collective consciousness with a mixture of violence and melody, by a simple combination between anger and energy, wavering between pessimism and recrimination.
